Outlook for 2021
As 2021 has got well underway, we feel that the future continues to look positive for Protomould Plastics. With our continued dedication to our existing customer base, our increased production capacity means we are easily able to keep up with the growing demands of all our customers and their plastic moulding needs.
Currently at Protomould we offer various services including component manufacturing and tooling manufacturing. However, we are now looking to expand as a business. Therefore, the aims for Protomould are to continue servicing and retaining its current customer base, whilst growing into new markets. The current market sectors of interest are customers who are keen for domestic homeware products. This market has grown as the shift in consumer consumption moves to more online sales. We are interested to expand our offering into this market. We are exploring products such as storage baskets, kitchenware, bathroom items, utensils, garden products and other general home products. At the same time, we are keen to grow our traditional leisure industry product offering. We are working in conjunction with our sister company Plas-Tech Thermoforming to offer all these types of products across both injection moulding and vacuum forming. Pushing that all important ‘Made in the UK’ message.
We are looking to work with big online & high street retailers to understand their requirements and offer up some solutions to their current domestic plastic homeware requirements. We are excited to see what 2021 offers us as one of the top plastics manufacturers in the UK.
